Superintendent’s Message

Welcome to the Kent City Schools! As Superintendent, it is my privilege to introduce you to a special school district entirely dedicated to a single, foundational promise: We do what is best for kids! Whether you are a current family, a prospective resident, or a community partner, you will find that our schools are vibrant places of growth, discovery, and support. We believe that education is most impactful when it is deeply personal. That is why our dedicated educators focus first on building strong, trusting relationships with every student. By creating a safe, connected environment, we ensure that our students feel valued for who they are, which is the essential first step for true engagement and lifelong academic success.

Once that foundation is built, we bring learning to life through relevance and rigor. We intentionally connect classroom lessons to our students' individual lives, our local community, and the broader world.
