If you answered yes to any of these questions, then you might be a perfect candidate for our 2024 Yearbook staff! Yearbook is a full-year course and allows students to exercise their photography, graphic design, and journalism skills. If you are interested, please see Mr. Fowler in the choir room to pick up an application and ask any questions you may have.

Kent Theodore Roosevelt High School’s Career-Technical Education Conversation for all interested 10th & 9th grade students and parents will be held on February 2, 2023, at 6:30 p.m. This will be a time for students and parents to tour TRHS CTE programs, talk to teachers and get a firsthand look at everything Theodore Roosevelt has to offer. Teachers and students in each of these programs will be available in their classrooms to give demonstrations and answer questions. Hey Rough Riders, LET’S GET READY TO RUMBLE!!! Today is the second day of our Winter Rumble class competition week. Tonight will be the Rowdy Rough Volleyball tournament which will be held in the auxiliary gym at 7pm. We love seeing all of the class colors today for the spirit theme! Tomorrow's theme will be Bikers vs. Surfers, so wear either attire. Make sure to participate in all other competitions throughout the week including Bingo, Change Wars, and Teddy’s Staff Trivia. All information for all competitions are posted in your class google classrooms so make sure to check it out

It’s BINGO time! The TRHS Student Council invites ALL of you to take out your BINGO cards that you should have received in your first period class today. Make sure to write your name on the back. At this time, we’re going to call out the first 10 numbers. As numbers are called, mark off any that you have on your card (and don’t forget to mark your FREE space). If you get BINGO, bring your winning card to the Activities Office during your lunch period to claim your prize and a tally for your class. Here are the first 10 numbers . . . Multiple competitions will be going on throughout the week including our Dodgeball tournament TONIGHT which will be held in the auxiliary gym at 7pm. Check out the concession stand during all lunch periods to donate to your class for the change wars. All money raised will be donated to Special Olympics. Teddy’s Staff Trivia is also open so make sure to go take the quiz! Everybody looks great dressed up in the fire and ice theme today! Make sure to wear your class colors for tomorrow’s theme. Suburban League Champions!! Your mens swim & dive team are your 20220-2023 American League Champions. Please congratulate them when you see them today. Well done Rough Riders!!

Both the men and women's swm and dive team ended their dual meet season with a victory over Cuyahoga Falls last night. The women finished with a 6-4 record and the men with an 8-2 record. Great job Rough Riders

Hey Rough Riders! The winter dance is coming up soon. It will be held here in the cafeteria next Saturday, February 4. This dance is open to Roosevelt students and Roosevelt CTE students ONLY so no outside guests. Tickets will be $10 and will be PRESALE ONLY, meaning you will not be able to purchase a ticket at the door the night of the dance. Tickets will only be sold during lunches next week at the concession stand so make sure you purchase one before they’re all gone.

Want to join a LIT and EPIC club? Join chess club! Chess club is so fire! You just have to stop, drop and roll down to room 214 on Wednesdays after school.
