If you or a friend are interested in running for a class or student council position, make sure to look for further information in the Activities office, student council google classroom, and info tables at lunch. Self-nomination forms will be due on Wednesday, April 26. If there are any questions, come to our meet and greet on Wednesday, April 19 where former class officers and student council officers can help you!

Colorguard tryouts will be held Monday, May 1 through Wednesday, May 3 from 3:00-4:30 pm. All three days are mandatory. See Senora Knight in room 216 for more information. No prior experience is necessary to try out.

Ticket sales for this year’s prom, “ A Night of Mystery”, start today! Tickets are $40 each and are being sold during every lunch period until this Friday, the 21st. All tickets must be purchased by the 21st. Buy a ticket to solve the mystery!

Attention Roosevelt Seniors, Do you have talent in drawing, painting, or sketching? Would you like to help raise awareness around the issue of drunk driving or distracted driving? If you do, then you want to enter this poster contest opportunity! The Roosevelt Senior Class will be attending the None for Under 21 Event on Friday, April 28 th at Kent State University. You as a Roosevelt Senior are invite participate in a poster contest sponsored by the None for Under 21 Planning Committee. Your originally designed poster should present a theme that features a drunk driving, or a distracted driving awareness and prevention message. Students who choose to design and submit a poster should make sure that our school name is on the front (or the poster will be disqualified from the voting) Please submit your poster designs to Mrs. Jacquie Peoples Dukes in room 159 by 3:00 pm Monday, April 24 (posters will be picked up on April 25, so they can be voted on by the N4U21 Planning Committee). There will be 1st place, 2nd place and 3rd place winners with a gift of money to go to your schools for prom/graduation!
