Do you enjoy filming and editing videos? Do you like graphic design? Do you want to help showcase all of Roosevelt's amazing events and programs to the school and community? Then, listen up! We have a new class starting next year called Digital Media Production and Publications. It will encompass yearbook, Colonel, AND a new video productions program! Students in this class will learn how to film and edit videos as well as design the yearbook and create online social media content. A big change for next year is that we will have video announcements at the beginning of 3rd period that students in this class will create daily. If you are interested, please see Mr. Fowler in the choir room or Ms. Evanson in the counseling department ASAP.
Attention animal lovers! If you have agreed to or would like to adopt an animal from Mr. Zagray's room (206), please make arrangements to do so ASAP!

A reminder for any Drama Guild members who is interested in serving as a club officer for the guild, Intent-to-Run forms are DUE TODAY so that all candidates can be showcased on the Scene Shop door prior to voting, which will take place NEXT WEEK! Please note that candidates for President must be a Thespian for the 2023-24 school year. All other officer positions can be any member of the Drama Guild. Election details to come.
FIELD DAY - FIELD DAY - FIELD DAY! That’s right, Field Day is TOMORROW and we’re so excited to have some end of year fun before our exam week. Students should stop by the Activities Office window after 12pm today, or at the concession stand tomorrow morning to check where you have been placed for field day. If your name is not on the list for specific activities, you are expected to report to the movie in the auditorium. Reminder to any student who selected the pool -- remember to bring your bathing suit and a towel. Students doing meditation should bring a blanket and pillow for your session.
An important Chromebook announcement from the Library! After your last final exam that requires a Chromebook, please fill out the Chromebook return/repair form. These will be available in your classrooms and the library. You will be receiving the same Chromebook next year, so you will want to specify if there is an issue. Then you need to bring it to the library where we will check it in, assess it for repairs, and send you on your way. Any Chromebooks that are not returned prior to break will be marked as such and assessed a $300 fine.
