January and early February is a busy time for our Career & Technical Education programs. There are several events showcasing the various programs and opportunities available to sophomore students as they prepare for their junior-year coursework and potential career pathways. On January 7, all sophomores attended the Six District Educational Compact Career Program Showcase (at KSU). They will also tour Kent Career Programs on January 15. Students will have an opportunity to select a Career program(s) to visit to get a more in-depth look at the advantages of joining a Career program. In addition, parents and students can attend a special evening event at TRHS on February 6, from 6:30 - 8 p.m. to learn about Kent Career Programs and have questions answered. The final step is to APPLY ONLINE beginning January 21 through February 20.
