Hello, Rough Riders!!
You're invited to attend a back-to-school event to empower the youth of Portage County as you prepare for the 2023-24 school year! The Youth Empowerment Rally is being held at Streetsboro High School on Monday, August 7, from 3:00-6:00 pm. You'll want to plan to attend the whole event to be a part of the breakout sessions that will cover topics on preventing bullying, internet safety, and mental health. There will also be a silent awareness walk, a free meal, bouncy houses, a radio DJ for music, and more! The event is free and open to students and families in Portage County. Be a part of creating a positive learning environment for you and your school!
The following organizations are partnering to create this back-to-school event to empower YOU, our youth in Portage County: Portage County NAACP, Children's Advantage, Town Hall II, University Hospitals, Kent United Church of Christ, Regional State Highway Patrol, & Local Police Departments.
