6th grade parents,
The state of Ohio requires students entering the 7th grade to have the meningococcal vaccine (also known as MCV4) and Tdap (Tetanus, diphtheria and pertussis).
For your convenience, Akron Children’s Hospital School Health Services will be offering a vaccine clinic at Stanton Middle School on April 11, 2025. Participation is voluntary. Only students with a completed parent letter and consent form can receive vaccines. Please return the letter and consent form by April 03, 2025.
Students who do not provide documentation of these immunizations to the school may be subject to exclusion next fall. If there are medical/religious or philosophical reasons your child cannot receive immunizations, please contact the school clinic for an Immunization Exemption Form.
