The Riders defeated the Cuyahoga Falls Tigers by a score of 2 to 1 in the sectional final last night. It was a hard fought battle on the field. Cuyahoga Falls found the back of the net first, but the Riders rallied back with goals from Corey Shiminsky and Andrew Jones to get the win. Roosevelt will take on Jackson on Monday October 25 at 7:00p.m. at Jackson High School. Come out and support the Riders to victory.
Roosevelt defeated Stow to advance in the state tournament last night by a score of 3 to 2. The game ended regulation time in a tie 2-2. After two sudden victory periods still tied. It then went to a shoot out. Goal keeper Tyler Mohnacky came up big for the Riders by stopping the last penalty kick to give Roosevelt the win. Great job boys! Riders play away at Cuyahoga Falls this Thursday October 21 at 7:00 p.m. Come out and support the boys soccer team.

The Riders defeated Springfield last night for their third win in a row, by a score of 7 to 0. Coletun Long scored four goals tying a school record for most goals in a game other years were 1982 and 1989. Also, finding the back of the net were Ethan Long, Andrew Jones and Bo Kreiner. Getting a shut out in the net was Tyler Mohnacky. Great work boys!
